  • As I have been inputing new "binders", I have been clicking on "Share" to make them public. I don't have a problem with my fellow collectors knowing what I have. But when I recently looked in my realm I noticed they all are listed as "private". Did I miss a step when creating a new binder? And is there a way to go back and make existing binders in my realm "public"?

  • i can't share my collection as well.
i check 'yes' share my collection, confirm my password, click save changes and it reverts back to 'no'.

  • Thanks dough boy. I use Safari on my Mac. For me, it looks like the "share" button does not work when you first create a binder, but I was able to edit the properties afterwards using the instructions on your link to share them.

  • Ok. I made it so that when you create a binder from the addition screen you can also set whether you want to share it as well. I also fixed the other binder creation screen (within Binder management) so that it saves your selection upon creation as well.

Thanks for alerting me to this bug.

  • i'm using firefox all nice and updated.
    like in my previous post....
    click my realm
click the edit button next to user info
    check yes for share collection
    confirm my password
    click save changes
it says settings saved but the no button is still checked.

i'm planning, for now to just put everything into my master binder and share it.
at some point i might break it down into sub binders.

  • I put some debugging on the page. Can you repeat your steps within your account? It still won't work, but it will let me know (hopefully) what the issue is.

Also I would advise against putting everything into your Master Binder. I know from experience (on here and on ComicBookRealm.com) that it is better to split them up. Generally I envision using the "binder" system as to where the card is located. Unless you have the worlds largest binder, or everything is in a rather large box it is typically easier to create a new location for them wherever you have them located. But to each their own. Very Happy

  • I actually received no output. Did you receive a confirmation message that it was saved? I am wondering if it is even making it to the server...

  • Ok...I am still not getting anything. Can you try filling in every field on the page (even with junk data) and see if the settings saves?

  • i changed every field except for user information and security information, clicked on save changes and all fields reverted back to what i originally put into the fields, including the ones i left blank. so nothing was saved.
